Since 2021, the Norwegian Competition Authority has investigated two moving companies due to suspicions of illegal cooperation. The Authority has now decided to close the case.
In the spring of 2024, the Authority issued a statement of objections, notifying the companies of a possible order to cease the cooperation and the imposition of administrative fines. Both companies submitted comments in response to the statement.
– Following an overall assessment of various aspects of the case, the Authority has decided to close the investigation, says Department Director Marita Mæland Skjæveland.
