TeliaSonera submitted a new remedy proposal to the Norwegian Competition Authority (NCA) on Wednesday 14 January in connection with the acquisition of Tele2. In accordance with the Competition Act, the proceedings are extended by 15 working days. The new and final deadline is Thursday 5 February 2015.
– The deadline extension is based on the right of the parties to have their proposal for remedial measures considered by the NCA. February 5th will be an absolute deadline for completion of the case, says director Gjermund Nese.
The NCA cannot comment on the content of the proposed remedies, but can be contacted if there is a need for general information.
